Packing List

You can find our packing list here!

Arrival

Arrival is on 2nd August, further details will be released soon.

You will need to make your own way to TeenStreet, but may choose to travel as a youth group.

Please make sure you arrive in enough time for your teens to pitch their tent if they are camping.

Once you reach the TeenStreet UK site, there will be team to direct you to where to go. Your first stop will be the registration point where everyone will sign in and collect their badge. You can then head to the accommodation.

Food and dietary requirements

Everyone at TeenStreet will have three full meals provided for during each day, as well as an evening meal on arrival day, and breakfast and a packed lunch on departure day. They may bring other food snacks if they wish, but they will not be able to cook onsite.

SPECIAL DIETS
We are able to prepare food for the following special diets: dairy free, lactose intolerant, coeliac, gluten-free, vegetarian (not vegan), and combinations of those, ONLY. Please ensure that is recorded in your booking form.

If you have other food allergies or intolerances, please include them in your booking form so that we can identify for you when a dish contains those ingredients. We regret we cannot provide alternative dishes if the offered dish contains those allergens, and we are not able to cater for individual likes and dislikes. All our food is prepared in a kitchen where nuts, gluten and other known allergens may be present. Please note that while we take care to prevent cross-contamination, any product may contain traces of allergens as all our meals are produced in the same kitchen. If your dietary needs alter after your booking please let us know what has changed.

If you have any additional queries about food, please email us at contact@teenstreet.uk.

Pets

No pets are allowed onsite except for registered service animals. If you have a service animal, please get in contact beforehand. We will need you to ensure it wears a harness or lead that identifies it at all times on site.

Families

Unfortunately, we do not have the facilities for children and infants on-site.

RAG: Sponsored colour run

Every year TeenStreet UK will be raising funds for a project that works with teens. Teens can get involved by joining our sponsored race; each lap is roughly 1 mile long and we record how many laps are run so for per lap sponsorship. Even if they can’t run, teens can support the runners by cheering them on and high fiving them on their way round!

Safety and Security

Keeping everyone safe

The safety of your teenagers is a top priority for the TeenStreet UK leadership team.

We have 24-hour security on site for the whole week.

Further details on safety and security can be made available upon request.

Child Protection

All adults onsite must be DBS checked. All adults at TeenStreet UK are required to sign and follow the TeenStreet UK guidelines regarding their interaction with teens.  For more detailed information about our child protection policies, please contact us by email at contact@teenstreet.uk.

Bringing a Group

Do groups need to bring a leader?

Our desire is to partner with the church’s youth group. Individuals or groups without leaders are certainly welcome at TeenStreet UK, but we believe that the time will be more effective if the teens and leaders go through the same experience.

How big a group can I bring?

We are not putting a limit on the number of teens that can come from any one Church. We want to encourage as many as possible to come and participate. Where possible it would be great to have a leader attend with every six teens – helping to run the small groups.

There are 12 year olds in my youth group, can they come too?

We may be able to accept 12 year olds who are actively involved in and coming as part of a youth group, and can participate on a level with 13 and 14 year olds for small group  Bible Study sessions as well as during the rest of the programme.

Please contact us at booking@teenstreet.uk to discuss this.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept 12 year olds wishing to sign up as individuals.

Youth group leaders and small groups

Where possible we would encourage Churches to bring one leader for up to every six teens to run their small groups.

If you are bringing a smaller group than six teens, we may combine your teens with others coming in other groups less than six, or as individuals. Please email to discuss this further.

Should a Church group want to stay together for their small group sessions, this is possible as long as there is one leader to every six teens within that group. This ratio can be discussed in individual circumstances. If you are the leader booker of a large church group, please get in touch with us prior to the event by email at booking@teenstreet.uk

Individual teens from your church

We welcome individual teens as well, and will place them in a small group for the week for small group time including Bible studies. Their coach (small group leader) will be there to support them during the week.

Churches without Youth Leaders

Unfortunately not all churches are able to send youth leaders.

In this instance, we will ensure that all teens are part of a suitable small group with a coach who will look after them for the duration of the week.

How can a Youth Leader come for free?

We want to help youth leaders to invest in their teens, and so we want to invest in youth leaders by making it possible for them to come along!

For every six teens in a church group, bring one youth leader free – either for camping or shared room. Please get in touch with us by email at booking@teenstreet.uk if you are bringing at least 6 teens from your church so we can arrange your free space.

Group bookings

You can use our online booking system, SolidRock, to create a unique code to pass onto anyone booking as part of your group. You will then be able to keep track of who has signed up and who still neds to sign up.

Once you are set up with a group booking, you may be able to add additional teen and youth leader names at a later date.

If you have any trouble with booking, feel free to email us at contact@teenstreet.uk.
