TeenStreet is an international Christian movement for teenagers. It works with the Church to motivate, equip and walk alongside (Christian) teens to have a real friendship with Jesus and reflect Him daily in their world, as well as inspiring them into missional action and encouraging life-long friendships and connections.

TeenStreet started in 1993 in Germany with 56 teenagers and has grown rapidly. Today there are annual weekend and week-long events in over 15 countries, spread over 4 continents. Around 10,000 participants and volunteers attend and invest in these events. In the next few years, at least 30 more events are anticipated in countries across the world, including the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. TeenStreet UK is part of this legacy.

At TeenStreet UK we want to encourage teenagers in their walk with Jesus, help them make wise decisions, and inspire them into missional action. We are committed to working with churches and youth groups, supporting them in their ministry to teenagers. At the same time, we emphasise cooperation with churches, because it’s so important that teenagers have a Christian community to be part of all year round.

Every teen participant is part of a small group during our summer event. Members of a small group share the same language and are the same age. Their adult leader supports them and shares their personal relationship with Jesus with them.

During the main meetings the teenagers also learn about living in relationship with God. They take what they hear in the main meetings to their small groups to reflect on it and apply it to their lives at home. There are many other exciting things for the teenagers to take part in, including sports, creative arts, seminars and workshops. They also have free time to get to know people from other groups, with different cultural and church backgrounds.
